Ekiti State
Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has announced a slight adjustment to
its recruitment examination schedule.
According to a
statement signed by the Board’s Permanent Secretary, Mr Mike Omolayo, the
examination which was initially scheduled for Friday, August 14 and Saturday,
August 15, has now been rescheduled to hold from Thursday, August 13 to
Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Omolayo said the
adjustment became necessary owing to the high volume of applications received
for the exercise.
He disclosed that
applicants who successfully submitted their applications would receive messages
via the e-mail address indicated in their application; specifying the exact day
and time that each applicant would will sit for the examination which would be
held at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.
While stating
that the Board would not tolerate applicants loitering around the examination
centre outside their assigned time, the Permanent Secretary urged applicants to
adhere strictly to the date and time scheduled for them for the Computer-Based
Test.
“Only invited
applicants are expected to come to the CBT centre with their printed
application forms for admission into the Examination hall at the time allotted
to them. It should be noted that only
successful applicants with NCE or Degree in Education/post-graduate diploma in
Education would be considered for appointment. Kindly also note that only duly
invited applicants will be allowed into the examination halls. The use of
mobile phones and other electronic devices will not be permitted in the
examination halls”, Omolayo stated.
