Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, will on Monday 24th August, 2026 begin a two-week annual leave.
According to a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Olayinka Oyebode, the two-week leave is part of the Governor’s statutory annual leave entitlement.
The statement also stated that the Governor would resume office on Monday, September 7, 2026.
"While
on leave, Governor Oyebanji will, however, continue to attend to
crucial matters relating to governance and administration of the State".
"This is the second time Governor Oyebanji will be proceeding on leave since assuming office on October 16, 2022", Oyebode said.
